Theta平台是美国通用汽车在2002年发布的一个suv平台，该平台分为两型三版-分别普通型-短轴版、普通型-加长版和豪华型，theta平台上推出的第一款车型是普通型-短轴版土星Saturn Vue，该车也是土星品牌的第一款suv。
2002年3月大宇被通用收购（此时土星Vue已经完成设计，因此可以说第一代土星vue是theta平台下唯一一款血统纯正的美国车 ）。从2004年，通用大宇铃木和欧宝开始在Theta平台上开发新车型，其基于短轴版生产了Daewoo Winstorm/Chevrolet Captiva/Opel Antara/Holden Captiva和二代Saturn Vue，基于长轴版生产了Chevrolet Equinox、Pontiac Torrent、Suzuki XL7、Chevrolet Equinox、GMC Terrain。通用还基于Theta Premium平台，开发出了两款豪华SUV车型，即凯迪拉克SRX和萨博品牌的9-4X。

Theta platform is an suv platform released by GM in 2002. This platform is divided into two types and three versions, Standard platform short wheelbase\Standard platform extended wheelbase and Premium type. The first car model launched on Theta platform is Saturn Vue which build under the standard platform short wheelbase , which is also the first suv of Saturn brand.
In March 2002, Daewoo was acquired by GM (the Saturn Vue had already been designed in this time , so it can be said that the first generation Saturn vue was the only pure American car under the theta platform). From 2004, GM Daewoo Suzuki and Opel began developing new models on the Theta platform, based on the standard platform short wheelbase produced Daewoo Winstorm/Chevrolet Captiva/Opel Antara/Holden Captiva and Saturn Vue II . Based on the Standard platform extended wheelbase, the Chevrolet Equinox, Pontiac Torrent, Suzuki XL7, Chevrolet Equinox, and GMC Terrain were produced. Gm has also developed two luxury SUVs based on the Theta Premium platform, the Cadillac SRX and the Saab 9-4X.
