五十铃 Midi
在1982到1990年期间,第一代fargo曾经以霍顿Shuttle的名义在澳洲销售过、以五十铃WFR\五十铃MIDI\贝德福德Seat\GME MIDI\GM MIDI在欧洲销售过、以雪佛兰WFR的名义在哥伦比亚销售过、以贝德福德IDI和沃克斯豪尔MIDI的名义在英国和爱尔兰销售过。
而在国内该车则经历过合资和“整容”两个阶段,要说这辆车就要先说一家公司“北京旅行车股份有限公司(简称北旅,在桑塔纳旅行版国产之前国内的旅行车指的不是Wagon而是中巴车,所以北旅这家厂子虽然名字里带“旅”可是它的英文厂名却是-Light Bus,轻型客车厂)”。北旅的前身“七一运输合作社”成立于1958年,其在1970年开始修理汽车并更名为丰台区汽车修配厂并在成功制造出了“丰台630旅行车,在1981年正式更名为“北京市旅行车制造厂”。
1985年北京旅行车股份有限公司成为全国第一家股份制企业;1995年,北旅将25%的股票转让给日本五十铃汽车公司和伊藤忠商事株式会社,成为中国国内第一家上市的外商投资股份有限公司。1996年,北旅开始制造五十铃WFR(车型代号为BL6471AK)和Journey这两款车,结果迎来的是连续3年的亏损。2000年9月,日本五十铃和伊藤忠宣布退出。
2003年,北旅在经过重组之后的北旅在当年的“国际商用车展”上正式发布了“第一代整容版五十铃WFR-北旅御虎(BJ6490)”,这一次的“整容”直接给五十铃WFR“整”了一个丰田海狮的脸并且搭载491发动机(丰田4y的克隆版)。两年之后,北旅推出了“第二代整容版”,而这一代的整容比第一代更惨;

Between 1982 and 1990, the first-generation Fargo was sold in Australia by Holden, and named Holden Shuttle. In Europe, the first-generation Isuzu Fargo was sold under the Isuzu WFR \Isuzu MIDI\Bedford Seat\GME MIDI\GM MIDI name. In Colombia, it was sold as the Chevrolet WFR. And it was also built in the United Kingdom by Vauxhall Motors and sold as the Bedford Midi and Vauxhall Midi.
In China, the car has two stages - "joint venture" and "cosmetic surgery", if we want to talk about the car must first say the company "Beijing Light Bus Co., LTD. (referred as Beilv,the literal translation of 北京旅行车股份有限公司 is Beijing Wagon Co., LTD, but,before the Santana b2 wagon bring into China, the domestic station 旅行车 was not a wagon but most like mid-size bus. Therefore, the English name of the factory of BeIU has is Beijing Light Bus)". The predecessor of BeiLv, "7-1 Freight transport Cooperative", was established in 1958, and it began to repair cars in 1970 and changed its name to Fengtai District Automobile Repair Factory and successfully manufactured the "Fengtai 630 mid bus", which was officially changed to "Beijing Light Bus Factory" in 1981.
In 1985, Beijing Light Bus Co., Ltd. became the first joint-stock enterprise in China. In 1995, the company transferred 25% of its shares to Isuzu and Itochu Corporation , becoming the first foreign-invested company which publiced in China. In 1996, Beilv began made the Isuzu WFR (code: BL6471AK) and Journey, unfortunatly,which bring beilv into three consecutive years of losses. In September 2000, Isuzu and Itochu announced their withdrawal.
In 2003, after the reorganization, BeIDu released the "first generation of plastic surgery version Isuzu WFR-Beilu Yuhu (BJ6490)" at the "International Commercial Auto Show" , this "plastic surgery" give the Isuzu WFR a "whole" Toyota Haice face and equipped with 491 engine (Toyota 4Y clone). Two years later, Beilv launched the "second generation of plastic surgery", and this generation of plastic surgery is more miserable than the first generation;
