南京跃进 英格尔
1995年，南京跃进汽车集团公司与马来西亚金狮集团（The Lion Group）合资成立跃进农用车有限公司(后更名为江苏南亚自动车有限公司)。1998年金融危机期间马来西亚金狮将其所占的50%股份作价7.5亿人民币转让给菲亚特（1996年，菲亚特旗下的依维柯与南京跃进成立了南京依维柯汽车有限公司-NAVECO），1999年6月南亚公司推出了两厢轿车英格尔和厢式货车优尼柯，售价6.4万元。据南亚自动车有限公司总经理茅晓鸣介绍：“英格尔轿车是南亚全套购入西班牙西亚特轿车厂的设备生产的轿车，其原型车在国外叫Ibiza。菲亚特在完成合资进入南亚汽车以后，主要对这款车的发动机和部分技术进行改进，并且委托日本著名的SIVAX设计公司对车身造型做了改进”。但是，菲亚特方面则极力撇清和“英格尔”的关系，在各种宣传中一再强调“英格尔”不能称为“菲亚特”。
从结果看，菲亚特此举可以说是无比的正确。因为早起生产的英格尔质量十分不稳定，开封的出租司机在使用后不久便多次反映该车存在发动机漏油、变速箱漏油、前车轮吃胎等多处问题。问题出现后开封的司机多次向南京厂家说明情况，但问题始终无法解决解决，最终不得不提起集体诉讼。这也成为了全国首例国产轿车质量纠纷退赔案！

In 1995, Nanjing Yuejin Automobile Group and The Lion Group（Malaysia) jointly established Yuejin Agricultural Vehicle Company. （later renamed Jiangsu Nanya Motor Corporation，自动车 is the Simplified chinese spelling of japanese world 自動車（automobile)）. In 1998, during the financial crisis, The Lion transferred all 50% share of Nanya which they own to Fiat for 750 million Yuan（In 1996, Fiat-IVECO and Nanjing Yuejin established Nanjing-IVECO ）. In June 1999, Nanya launched the hatback Encore and minivan Unique, According to Mao Xiaoming who general manager of Nanya Auto said : all the equipment which use for made Encore is purchased from Spain Seat , its “brother” in foreign countries called Ibiza. After Fiat enters Nanya Moto, the company has made a battery of improvements to the body shape and engine". On the other hand, Fiat tries its best to distance itself and repeatedly in various publicity that Encore cannot be called Fiat made.
The results trun out thai it is a right move. Because the quality of the early production of Encore is very unstable, some henan Kaifeng taxi drivers found there are more than 20 problems ，like engine oil leakage 、transmission oil leakage 、front wheel tire wearing ，and so on. After appeared, those driver repeatedly explained the it to the manufacturer, but the problem could not be solved and finally had to file a class action lawsuit. This has also become the first domestic car quality dispute refund case in china!

btw2: In 2002, Nanjing Yuejin quickly stopped production of Encore after the Nanjing-Fiat launched Fiat Palio. Two years later, in 2004, in order to enter the automobile market, BIRD mobile phone company and Nanjing Yuejin resumed production of Encore and renamed it as "SOYAT".
