2002年2月10日，中国石油甘肃白银公司的奔驰MB100轻型客车在行驶途中，因刹车跑偏，导致翻车，造成一死二伤的重大交通事故
2002年4月4日，甘肃省出入境检验检疫局向国家质检总局上报了关于奔驰MB100旅行车存在严重质量隐患的紧急报告
2002年5月28日，中国质量认证中心日前发布公告，暂时吊销韩国双龙公司的MB100系列旅行车的进口商品安全质量许可证书。
2002年10月24日，恢复受理奔驰MB100轻型客车的进口报检。
2003年1月，上海汇众购买了MB100的生产线开始生产该车型
2004年1月，使用汇众logo的MB100正式开始销售，售价为15-20万人民币.
