现代 美佳
自2005年起，中国的mpv市场曾经有过一段小高潮，在这期间欧宝、大众、雪铁龙、雷诺相继向中国导入了多款车型，例如赛飞利、途安、开迪、毕加索、风景。此时的北京现代在凭借索纳塔和伊兰特两款车型名声大噪之后也跟随欧洲的好兄弟一起加入了引进小型mpv的道路，现代选择进口的车型就是现代美佳。
美佳发布于2001年，和此时已经国产的三代伊兰特（Elantra XD）采用相同平台，这款车在欧洲和中国大陆叫做美佳、在韩国本土则叫做lavita。这款车最大的卖点就是Pininfarina的外观设计，其更是在车身的C柱上粘贴了Pininfarina专属的徽饰以证明其身。

Hyundai Matrix
Since 2005，China's mpv market once had a hot wave , Opel、VW、Citroen introudced Zafira、Touran、Caddy、Picasso into China. At this time, after becoming famous with Sonata and Elantra models, Beijing Hyundai join the road of his “European friend” introduced small MPV Matrix to China.
Matrix launched in 2001, it is based on the same platform as the three generations(Elantra XD) which has been made in Beijing-Hyundai , this car named Matrix in Europe and mainland China ,and the Lavita in South Korea. The biggest selling point of this car is the Pininfarina design, so hyundai affixed to the C-pillar of the body of the Pininfarina logo to prove its source.
